Umpqua Silvey's Beadhead Pupa - Tan (3-Pack)

The Silvey's Beadhead Caddis has been one Fin & Fire's favorite caddis pupa's for years.  The fly was originated by Brian Silvey, a legendary Deschutes River guide. 

When caddis hatches thicken through the summer, you can bet this fly will be one of the first we reach for.  Tied with Micro Pearl Braid, caddis-eaters can't say no to this little gem.  We dead-drift the pattern and consciously swing it under tension at the end of the drift.  Make sure to upsize the tippet a bit when doing this otherwise you will get broken off on the slashing eats.
