Although browns are not the main reason most anglers come to Central Oregon, they are another reason Central Oregon is one of the most unique and diverse regions to chase trout in the West.  Summer is a great time to look for an elusive brown trout in the Upper Deschutes basin south of Bend and in the Redmond area.
