Jessie understands the importance of a good backcast.  Not only does a good backcast not catch things you don't want to catch, but a good backcast is one of the most important parts of the forward cast.  A good backcast will help you catch more fish.

Like a good driver that has full command of rearview and side mirrors, good anglers know what is going on behind them at all times.

In general, the instructional videos from Orvis are some of the best in the industry.  It's never too late to improve your casting.  Small improvements in your cast can translate to improved success on our local waters such as the Metolius which has many fish that lie just outside the range of the average caster.

Please don't hesitate to reach out to us for casting help.  We teach casting to dozens of anglers every year of all abilities. We will help you make big improvements in a short time.  Call the shop for details.
